AirVPN setup trouble on a headless M4 Mac mini

An with 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage is being used headless, like a small always-on server. The previous machine was an older cylinder-style Mac Pro. AirVPN’s Eddie client allows login, but it does not connect to any server.
