Camera dropouts reported during long recordings on an M4 Mac Mini
An connected to a Sony ZV-1 through Camlink is having random video dropouts during recordings. The camera still works on the local side, but treats the video as dropped and creates a new track.
Audio keeps working, but co-hosts cannot see the video until the studio is left and rejoined. Replacing all cables did not reveal the cause.
The issue seems more common in recordings longer than one hour, although some can run for hours without trouble. Recording is usually done in Google Chrome.
