Aura lets AI agents control an Android phone
Aura is an AI agent that runs on an Android phone. It includes its own on-device , which exposes phone actions such as tapping, typing, scrolling, opening apps, moving through the interface, and carrying out tasks. Aura uses these MCP tools to control the phone directly instead of only answering questions.
The same server is not limited to Aura. External such as Claude Code can connect to it and use the same phone-control tools. The setup is: Android phone, local , then Aura or another AI agent controlling the device.
The project is still in development and experimentation, with a showing it working.
