Streamscope offers lightweight Twitch recording for a home server

Streamscope is a small tool that automatically records live Twitch streams. It needs neither a web control panel nor a database, and the program itself uses only a few megabytes of memory. Its is 250 MB, with FFmpeg, Streamlink, and Python accounting for about 230 MB.

It can also run as one standalone file, but it currently supports Linux only. The developer has used it in a setup for three years and reports that it ran continuously for months without problems. Recent work added proper Docker support and the option to record chat without video.

A planned feature will limit recording to streams in selected games or . The allows broad use and modification.
