Claude Code Max 20x plan: a week's usage burned in 20 minutes
A describes testing the limits of Anthropic's 20x plan. After Anthropic reset the two hours earlier than expected, the developer decided to use up the remaining allowance rather than lose it.
Six Claude Code windows were opened at once, all with the ultracode option turned on, running six different tasks simultaneously: comparing a recent SEO report against past ones, suggesting homepage design updates, reviewing an Instagram post's design, reviewing the front page of a app, redesigning a one-page PDF, and scanning news for new security threats (which got automatically downgraded to the Opus model). Starting from zero right after the reset, this burned through the usage allowance in about 20 minutes.
That 20-minute burst accounted for 38% of the entire week's usage — meaning at this intensity, the whole weekly allowance would be gone in roughly one hour. The equivalent cost if paid via the API for those tasks was about $18.17, $67.29, and $57.
