GeoIcons offers 422 map icons under free and paid licenses

GeoIcons is a collection of small country and region outlines made for dashboards and other interfaces. It contains 422 icons covering 255 countries and 167 states, regions, and territories. It avoids the usual choice between handling loose files or installing a full map library that is much larger than an icon set needs to be. Ready-made components are available for , and plain JavaScript.

Each icon can be added separately, so unused countries do not increase the size of an app, and there is no central registry or lookup step while the app is running. Built-in includes unique title identifiers and ARIA labels. The shapes were also adjusted to look visually consistent despite large differences between countries such as Chile and Russia. Use in projects is free under GPLv3, while products need a paid .

The package does not disable icons or show repeated payment prompts to enforce the license. More subdivisions and flag icons are planned.
