New tool lets you control OBS by talking to an AI instead of using menus

OBS-MCP connects the streaming software OBS to an (currently Claude), letting users give plain-language commands instead of digging through menus. Saying "clean up my mic" makes the AI build a Gate → Noise Suppression → Compressor audio filter chain, using settings actually verified against OBS's filter source rather than guessed values.

Saying "set up my scenes for streaming" creates the standard Starting Soon / Live / BRB / Ending scene layout automatically. Asking "why am I dropping frames" pulls real stats directly instead of requiring a hunt through Advanced settings.

The tool can control nearly everything OBS's own interface can: the audio mixer, filters, scene switching, recording, studio mode, , and replay buffer. It doesn't replace a hardware controller for people who already own one, but for beginners who can't yet spend $150+ on hardware, it offers similar one-touch actions for free.
