Open-source Mac health check tool hits version 4.0.0
Mac Health Check is a free, tool that works with any MDM (mobile device management) system and shows a Mac's security and policy status directly to the end user. Built on the utility , it displays real-time system health and status in a clear on-screen panel. Administrators can customize the look of this panel, and results get logged for review, though the tool itself does not change any device settings.
A 'Silent' operation mode lets IT staff check a machine's status in the without interrupting the user. Version 4.0.0 adds the ability to generate results as JSON, using new Inspect Mode features from 3.1.0, and this data can optionally be sent to Splunk HEC (HTTP Event Collector) for storage in enterprise reporting systems.
