A small home server planned as a TV box replacement
A Kettop MI19C mini PC is being used as a first homelab device. The main goal is to replace an Android TV or Google TV-style living room media device.
The hardware has 8GB of memory, a 64GB NVMe SSD, a 128GB SSD, and a Celeron J1900 . It also has two wired , four USB ports, one HDMI port, one VGA port, and one COM port.
It supports Windows and Linux. The possible apps include Pi-hole, AdGuard, Stremio, and Plex, with the main question being which apps and GNU/ fit media use and network management best.
