A home lab moved from a tower case into a server rack
A personal home lab server moved from a regular tower PC case into a Rosewill RSV-R4012 server chassis and a first server rack. The server runs UNRAID and works as both a compute machine and a NAS. It stores 52TB of files in a .
Its main job is Plex media serving. The same machine also runs many , including DNS, a , Immich, Plex, FileRun, , Termix, and more. The older Darkrock tower case had good temperatures, but the surrounding gear was messy and spread around on the floor.
A server rack made sense because a UPS, modem, and router are planned to sit near the server too.
