A small home server setup running at about 30 watts
A Lenovo M910q mini PC is being used as a . It runs Proxmox and has 32GB of memory, a 512GB SSD, a 1TB SATA , and a 500GB external . The network uses two routers: one from the internet provider and a personal TP-Link Archer AX12 router.
A connects the router, the mini PC, an Android TV, and sometimes a MacBook. The are low-cost Cat6 cables that were crimped by hand. An APC BX750MI-MS UPS is used for backup power, with NUT managing power status.
Power use stays around 30 watts. A gaming laptop was sold and replaced with this smaller, lower-power setup, while gaming continues on a Nintendo Switch OLED.
