Scanopy splits one network scan into four clearer map views
Scanopy is a tool that automatically creates diagrams of a home or office network. A daemon runs inside the network, finds hosts, services, and , then builds an that refreshes on a schedule.
Until recently, Scanopy mainly focused on L3 topology, which shows the logical network view around addresses and routing. SNMP support later added physical connection details between devices, but putting too much information into one diagram made the maps hard to read.
Scanopy can now create four separate topology views from one scan: L2, L3, , and apps. The main change is that physical links and logical structure no longer have to be forced into the same crowded diagram.
