On a plan, weekly usage rose from 41% to 61% during roughly 10 hours when the laptop was shut down. There were no active chats, Claude Code sessions, or known running. The session usage meter also showed 60% when Claude was opened again.
A similar unexplained increase happened with another model, rising from 16% to 27% without deliberate use. The cause remains unknown and could involve an unfinished or an error in the usage display.
