Non-programmer builds a simple music app with Claude in two weeks
A product designer with no programming experience used Claude and Claude Code to build “playtape,” a music-making app, over two weeks. It was designed for quickly recording musical ideas, laying down basic tracks, and moving on without learning complicated music software.
The personal project then grew into a tiered app for children as well as and people. It provides only enough features to explore music without a steep learning curve, rather than trying to copy the complexity of professional tools.
