Gemini may add controls for voice speed, energy, and tone
Code in test version 17.41.12 of the Google app points to planned controls for four parts of Gemini's voice: energy, formality, speed, and warmth. Energy, formality, and warmth would each have low, , and high settings, while speed would offer slow, normal, and fast. The chosen settings are expected to work in both and regular chat.
Google has not announced the feature, and clues found inside an unfinished app can change or disappear before . Google has separately said regional dialects are coming; Apple is also adding controls for Siri's speaking pace and expression in iOS 27, with those choices carrying into Maps and Safari.
