A non-coder built a first app with ChatGPT and Claude

The result was Snaccky, a small movie hangman-style game built around movie memories and friend challenges. The main learning was not just writing code, but learning how real products get shaped. The work involved improving the app in steps, finding points where users got stuck, reducing user worry, making a nostalgia-based game for adults, and about how people might share it.
ChatGPT was used for product , PRD writing, and breaking into product-owner-sized parts. Claude Code handled and , while helped with UI changes. The app used a React + FastAPI + MongoDB stack, with product flows written first and then refined through ChatGPT into clearer PRDs.
